Job summary

SumUp in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Customer Directory to own how merchant customer data works across SumUp's ecosystem, spanning Online Store, Bookings, POS, Invoicing, Payment Links, Loyalty and more.

You will build a unified, trusted customer view from the ground up, define identity, data ownership, permissions and consent, and partner with engineering, design, privacy and legal to shape data rights from day one.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management, including owning a product or cross-product problem.
• Strong data fluency combining quantitative analysis and user research.
• Ability to turn complex APIs and data flows into clear product decisions.
• Comfort leading multiple teams without direct authority.
• Experience with privacy and data rights (GDPR, consent, deletion).
• Experience with customer identity systems, CDP or CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for a shared customer directory across SumUp products.
• Lay groundwork for deduplication, segmentation, CRM and consent-aware communications.
• Make core decisions on customer identity, data ownership, permissions and linking.
• Partner with engineering, design, privacy and legal to deliver a trusted customer view.
• Turn merchant research into clear requirements to reduce duplicate records.
• Align priorities with PMs from other SumUp products building on the shared model.
