Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing trading strategies and quantitative models
• Optimising RES (Renewable Energy Sources) power plant assets through trading on the Polish Day-Ahead and Intraday Markets
• Participating in proprietary trading activities in physical energy markets
• Executing orders on the Polish Ancillary Services Market
• Strategically managing and optimising Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Nominating schedules to the Transmission System Operator (TSO)
• Collaborating closely with analysis and product development teams
• Contributing to the development of internal trading systems and process automation (e.g. algo-trading)
• Monitoring market trends and sharing relevant insights with the team>

Qualifications and Experience

• At least three years experience in trading Polish power markets
• Fluency in Polish and English – daily usage
• University degree in finance or economics, or a scientific or technical field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Eager to learn, adaptive, and responsible
