Job summary

Nortal invites a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Edge Platform Engineering Team within Security Platform Practice. You’ll drive state-of-the-art cloud engineering with a DevSecOps mindset, shaping solutions from design through deployment and operation.

You’ll own a cross-domain platform across AWS, Terraform, and security services, focusing on WAF, CDN and bot protection while enabling self-service for teams and ensuring robust observability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with highly available, distributed systems in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services for scalable platforms.
• Hands-on Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
• Understanding of WAF, CDN and web security concepts.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, HTTPS, HTTP headers and DNS.
• Awareness of bot/scraper threats to production web platforms.
• Ability to read Python/Go code and use AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate and improve highly available cloud platforms and services.
• Own platform lifecycle from design to operation.
• Build scalable AWS solutions using Terraform and DevSecOps practices.
• Advance web security and CDN capabilities (WAF, CDN).
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, workflows and self-service for platform users.
• Ensure observability, security, documentation and platform quality.
• Collaborate with cross-domain teams to adopt new technologies.
