Job summary

emagine seeks an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to own a production AI platform running large language model workloads. This individual contributor role involves hands-on responsibility, while the Platform Tech Lead sets direction.

The candidate will ensure reliability, security and predictable operation on Kubernetes with Talos Linux and GPU-enabled nodes, using NVIDIA NIM and vLLM for model serving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with cluster lifecycle management and upgrades.
• Excellent English communication.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve a production-grade Kubernetes platform.
• Own platform components end-to-end.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes infrastructure and production issues.
• Plan safe rolling upgrades of clusters and components.
• Maintain security and data residency standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure reliability.
