HomeToGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (PHP) to join our Checkout team. You will contribute to improving the checkout flow and post-booking experience, delivering seamless user experiences across our marketplace.

You will work with PHP, Symfony, and a broad stack including Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kubernetes and AWS, collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring teammates. This role offers growth, international team, visa sponsorship for Germany, and an emphasis on learning and

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Expert in PHP and Symfony.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems.
• Knowledge of relational databases.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating with third-party systems.
• Experience with LLM-based tools.
• Comfort working with business stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong learning mindset and team-player.

• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from refinement to production, including engineering decisions on larger topics.
