Job summary

thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk Sp. z o.o. is seeking a skilled penetration tester to identify and investigate security vulnerabilities across web apps and infrastructure.

You will interact with clients to capture test requirements and contribute to advanced testing methods and scripts. The role involves supporting vulnerability management, producing actionable reports, and mentoring junior staff. English proficiency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in web application and infrastructure penetration testing.
• Proven track record in red teaming, source code review, and in-depth knowledge of OWASP Testing Guide (e.g., XSS, CSRF, session management).
• Proficiency with Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Wireshark, Bettercap and scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive actionable security findings.
• Professional fluency in English; German a plus; experience with AI-based security tests is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and investigating security vulnerabilities at thyssenkrupp.
• Interacting with clients to determine their requirements for the tests.
• Contributing to penetration testing methods, scripts and tests.
• Supporting the vulnerability management and other security-related projects.
• Creating reports and recommendations from findings.
• Mentoring and supporting less experienced resources.
