Job summary

SMA Magnetics Sp. z o.o. in Modlniczka, Poland, is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to design and optimize complex multilayer layouts used in energy conversion systems. You will work with international development teams from concept to validation, reporting to the R&D Manager.

Role requires experience in PCB design for power electronics, DFM/DFT/DFL, and strong English (B2) with some German beneficial. Travel flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PCB design for power electronics converters or electronic devices.
• International teamwork and collaboration in engineering projects.
• English written and spoken at least B2; basic German helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create complex analog, digital and mixed-signal PCB layouts for power electronics.
• Design multilayer boards for power converters and control systems.
• Translate requirements into production-ready layouts respecting guidelines.
• Contribute to design reviews and layout strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Support prototype bring-up, validation and debugging with labs.
