Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience with Node.js
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and backend frameworks
• Experience in backend development using TypeScript or any strongly typed language, SQL databases, and frameworks for dependency/network management (e.g., NestJS, Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core)
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling
• Understanding of modern API design and security best practices
• Good understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience in fintech, highly regulated industries, or document processing considered an advantage
• Fluency in Polish and advanced level of English (B2/C1)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and version control systems like Git
• Experience with cloud services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core backend services and APIs for a new MVP application using Node.js
• Build scalable and flexible architecture to support future product growth
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (TDD/BDD preferred)
• Collaborate with front-end developers to define efficient data flows and integrations
• Contribute to shaping technical direction, tools, and best practices from the ground up
• Continuously optimize performance, reliability, and code quality as the product evolves
• Work closely with product and design teams in an Agile/Scrum setup to rapidly iterate and deliver value
