Job summary

Euroclear in Poland seeks a senior network security engineer to govern the design and continuous improvement of enterprise network security controls. You will bridge governance, policy, risk management, and operational oversight to ensure security is implemented and documented in line with regulatory and business needs.

The role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to engage with engineering, risk, audit, and architecture teams, driving governance processes and concrete improvements

Qualifications

• Senior network security engineer with governance experience.
• Experience translating policies into technical requirements for network security controls.
• Familiarity with governance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks such as NIST/ISO 27001/DORA.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and evolve network security policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Govern the lifecycle of network security controls (firewalls, segmentation, secure connectivity).
• Review and approve designs, changes, and exceptions related to network security.
• Oversee firewall rule governance, risk-based reviews, and audit evidence production.
• Collaborate with network engineers, cloud/platform teams, and security architects.
