HSBC Holdings plc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our agile software engineering team in Kraków. You will own full stack .NET delivery from inception through transition, with a strong focus on engineering quality through TDD, ATDD, and CI/CD.

The role also contributes to the team’s technical strategy including evergreen improvements, cloud roadmap and DevOps/DevSecOps adoption, while partnering with business to shape and commercialise solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on programming with .NET and C#.
• Strong MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL experience.
• Experience with Clean Code, C# design patterns, Entity Framework, Unity.
• CI/CD delivery with DevOps/DevSecOps controls.
• Experience with micro-services architectures.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work in a diversified international environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full stack .NET solutions and automated tests across the project lifecycle.
• Analyse requirements and propose aligned solutions.
• Translate requirements into working software in agile setting.
• Run demos with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Produce and maintain specifications and documentation.
• Investigate live faults, diagnose and fix issues.
• Support technical strategy: evergreen, cloud roadmap, DevOps/DevSecOps tooling.
• Mentor other developers on best practices and security requirements.
