Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable .NET backend and Angular frontend solutions. You will integrate with Azure services, design APIs, and implement CI/CD pipelines, delivering high-quality software for financial clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment, contributing to architecture decisions while ensuring performance and security across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with .NET technologies (C#, Microsoft .NET) and DevOps
• Strong proficiency in Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript
• Backend-first mindset with strong architectural rigor
• Experience building REST APIs with .NET (OData a plus)
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines
• SQL Server design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes (AKS) and distributed systems
• Solid understanding of design patterns (OOP, SOLID) and TDD/BDD
• Experience with code reviews and SonarQube
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Make design and implementation decisions for scalable, secure solutions
• Promote engineering best practices: design patterns, code quality, testing, monitoring
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services using .NET
• Design and implement frontend apps using Angular and TypeScript
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Engineering Manager on capacity and feasibility
• Drive epic/features analysis and backlog prioritization
• Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle and CI/CD
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery and address bugs
• Stay updated with trends in software development
