Job summary

Social Discovery Group (SDG) is seeking a Senior .NET Developer (Fintech) to lead backend services for payments and back-office workflows. You will design microservices, implement resilient data pipelines, and ensure latency targets while collaborating with an international remote team.

The role demands 5+ years of C#/.NET Core experience, strong microservices know-how, and hands-on Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB/Cosmos DB.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience designing microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, AKS, MS SQL Server, MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
• Experience delivering tasks with AI tools or agents from definition to working result.
• Clean, maintainable code with tests.
• Ownership of results and open communication when something goes wrong.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for payment processing and the back office: reconciliation, payouts, fee calculation, settlements and the B2B client dashboard.
• Build resilient integrations and asynchronous workflows (idempotency, outbox/inbox, sagas, retries, deduplication).
• Meet performance and reliability targets (p95/p99 latency, SLA/SLO), set up monitoring and alerting.
• Deliver tasks with AI agents, validate the generated code, add tests and fix defects.
• Review code, keep specifications up to date and share knowledge with the team.

Your Main Tasks Will Be

We Expect From You

• Real experience delivering tasks with AI tools or agents from task definition to a working result. You understand every line you ship and can explain it;
• Clean, maintainable code with tests;
• Ownership of results and open communication when something goes wrong;

Nice to have:
