Job summary

Talent Systems, LLC in Krakow, Poland is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the backend for our cloud-based SaaS applications. Qualifications

• 3+ yrs (L2) or 5+ (L3) years of experience in backend development for web or SaaS applications.
• Designing and developing web-based applications using Microsoft technologies (C#, .NET6+, ASP.NET, Blazor, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server)
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable backend services using C#, .NET.
• Develop robust RESTful services to support frontend applications.
• Design and implement microservices architecture to ensure modularity and scalability.
• Leverage AWS services to build and optimize backend systems.
• Ensure backend systems are highly available, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Partner with product managers and other engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices for coding standards and design patterns.
• Ensure robust testing and automation (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to deliver high-quality backend services.
• Deliver results with urgency, balancing speed and quality.
• Identify and address technical debt and bottlenecks, ensuring backend readiness for future demands.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve backend architectures.
