Collaborating with the developers, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions aimed at enhancing the database stack. The company is a global leader in electronic payments, providing innovative technological solutions for the financial sector. Your tasks

• Working on robustness improvement projects
• Participating in designing, implementing, and operating solutions to enhance the database stack together with developers
• Enhancing and automating database operations
• Developing the monitoring and alerting stack for the application databases
• Working on daily operational tasks, including database change management, query fine-tuning, and troubleshooting
• Providing tools to developers to become autonomous in their daily data operations
• Participating in rotating on-call duties

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience in a HA environment
• Good knowledge of SQL Server in a high-availability setup
• Skills in SQL queries, performance tuning, and analysis
• Knowledge of PowerShell
• Good knowledge of various Git flowsli>
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Fluent Polish required
• Residing in Poland required
