HelloFresh is seeking a Product Engineer for its HelloTech team in Warsaw. You will own the mobile experience built with React Native and TypeScript, shaping features across iOS and Android for millions of customers.

You’ll work with AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate delivery, collaborate with international teams, and help scale our end-to-end product, from discovery to production, in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Work with HelloFresh in Warsaw and its HelloTech organisation, HelloFresh’s global technology backbone with more than 1000 people, building the digital products that power our end-to‑end food experience. About the role: What's in the Box

HelloFresh’s Menu Discovery squad owns the customer experience that helps millions of people find and customise meals across brands and markets. The squad is compact and cross‑functional, and what customers do in the app shapes every decision we make. The work runs on our React Native apps for iOS and Android, which turn federated GraphQL responses into fast, reliable shopping experiences. Performance is a requirement from day one, and we design for it from the first RFC. You’ll take features from RFC to production, rolling them out gradually across markets with feature flags and measuring impact through analytics events and A/B tests. Beyond the squad, you’ll help shape architecture across the tribe, from navigation and state management to module boundaries. If you want a large technical surface area and a visible impact on a large customer base, this role offers both.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

At HelloFresh we are moving away from a model where software developers just execute tickets toward one where product engineers are trusted to own customer problems. A Product Engineer takes a problem, forms a point of view, validates it with customers and data, and ships it using AI as a force multiplier.

• Lead the app experience, owning the metrics that reflect quality for mobile customers (retention, crash‑free sessions, conversion).
• Work beyond your specialization when the problem demands it. Your specialization anchors your work without limiting it.
• Operate what you build. You instrument, monitor, and improve your systems in production. Shipping starts the learning cycle.

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients

• Hands‑on experience working with AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) beyond casual experimentation. You use AI agents every day. You have a practical sense of how the context you provide to AI tools shapes output quality, and how to set boundaries on AI‑generated work.
• Deep expertise in React Native and TypeScript. Proven ability to design, build, and operate high‑traffic consumer mobile apps used by millions, with a clear understanding of the impact on software architecture, dependencies, and business value.
• Deep mobile engineering expertise, with experience across the app release cycle, test automation, on‑device performance and platform UX conventions.
• You take full ownership. You have a bias to ship. You finish the last twenty percent.
• You have product sense and are opinionated about what should be built and why, and you can back that opinion with data and user evidence.
