Job summary

KK Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Szczecin to join the Value Engineering & Standardization team. You will craft standardized, modular mechanical solutions for wind turbine panels, converters and large constructions, working with a global team across Poland and Denmark.

Requirements include a 5–10 year background in mechanical engineering in wind energy, a degree in mechanical engineering, and proficiency in SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor or Master).
• 5–10 years in mechanical engineering within wind or renewable energy.
• Experience in design/verification/manufacturing of industrial systems, preferably wind.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements into cost-optimized, standardized and modular mechanical solutions for wind turbine products.
• Lead standardization and modularization of mechanical designs.
• Drive mechanical design of products (panels, converters, electromechanical constructions) ensuring compliance with quality, safety and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain mechanical design standards, value engineering libraries and templates focusing on reuse and scalability.
• Coordinate with Development, Sourcing, Manufacturing and After-market to secure cost-efficient standardized solutions across the value chain.
• Prepare technical documentation and presentations to communicate concepts to stakeholders.
• Gather and integrate stakeholder input to support KK Group’s strategy and future platforms.
