Wincent is seeking a senior performance engineer to optimize the trading system across hardware, network, and software. You will analyze live production data, prototype changes, and collaborate with trading, infra, and software teams to push latency lower and reliability higher.

The role offers onsite collaboration in Bratislava with relocation support, and a flexible remote option. Senior candidates with 5+ years in low-latency environments are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Senior-level expertise with 5+ years in low-latency hardware and software.
Strong background in Linux kernel, networking, and real-time systems.
Understanding of market data feeds, order books, and exchange-level protocols.
Experience with performance testing tools and scripting.

Responsibilities

Optimize trading system performance across hardware, network, and software.
Analyze and tune low-level systems including kernel and network stacks.
Monitor and profile live trading systems and identify bottlenecks.
Prototype and implement performance improvements in live trading environments.
Collaborate with trading, infrastructure, and software teams to ensure measurable improvements.
