We’re hiringan experienced DevOps engineer (6+ years)to join the IT infrastructure team at a top North American bank — directly supporting the development offinancial trading systems. You’ll bepart of the core IT infrastructure team, building and maintaining infrastructure for highly-performant, low-latency trading systems used across the firm.

A successful candidate will be a passionate DevOps engineer who prioritizes automation, can code their own tools, and understands the value of observability. They must also be curious, open-minded, and have a desire to learn new things. English proficiency is a must.

This is a fully remote DevOps role for an engineer in Poland. You will be working exclusively and directly with the bank through a Polish company, that will provide the support and administrative assistance to make you successful in the role. We are looking for people to join the team long‑term.

This role requires working during US Eastern business hours in order to be able to collaborate closely with other team members.

Only open to residents of Poland. Polish citizens, as well as legal residents with permission to work in Poland are welcome.

Successful candidates will need to pass a standard background check.

Must have

• Experience supporting low‑latency systems for trading applications or capital markets.
• Experience with high‑performance networking cards and performance optimization approaches such as kernel bypass.
• Bare metal container orchestration experience.
• Experience using infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Puppet to manage large environments (hundreds of servers).
• Proficiency in Python and bash.
• Experience deploying to AWS‑based systems.
• Ability to build and maintain observability systems that provide visibility into system health, performance, and failures across hundreds of servers.
• Deep troubleshooting skills in live Linux environments, including debugging performance issues, hung processes, and misconfigured services.
• Ability to work during US Eastern business hours.
