Job summary

Sigma Software is seeking a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to own technical decisions, lead platform delivery, and shape cloud and Kubernetes environments for government-grade infrastructure.

The role emphasizes architecture design, IaC, CI/CD automation, and strong collaboration with stakeholders in an international engineering setting. You will drive platform hardening, security, and scalable operations while mentoring the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Deep Kubernetes administration, networking, and security expertise.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Hands-on in AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience implementing GitOps with ArgoCD or similar tools.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with CI/CD automation and software delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of secrets management solutions such as OpenBAO or HashiCorp Vault.
• Experience with identity and access management solutions such as Keycloak.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, CIS benchmarks, and platform hardening.
• Experience working with production enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Ability to work independently and make technical decisions.
• Experience communicating with Customers and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure delivery activities from discovery to production rollout.

PROJECT

The project is focused on building and maintaining secure enterprise infrastructure platforms for the public sector. The team designs, automates, and operates Kubernetes-based environments with strong emphasis on cloud infrastructure, platform hardening, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation.

As part of the project, you will contribute to large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives involving Kubernetes orchestration, GitOps practices, enterprise security solutions, and air-gapped deployment environments. The role includes active participation in technical discovery, architecture design, implementation planning, and stakeholder communication.
