Sii Poland seeks an experienced software engineer to design and maintain scalable Kotlin-based microservices for a fintech platform that integrates financial tools with partner systems such as banks and accounting platforms. You will contribute to architecture, performance optimization, and collaboration across product domains.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Backend focus with Kotlin; experience designing distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, relational databases, and observability tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor teammates.
• Very good English (B2) and residence in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and maintenance of scalable Kotlin-based microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Platform, Services, SMB, and more.
• Analyze performance and implement optimizations for reliability and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and post-mortems and mentor other engineers.
• Drive architectural improvements and migrations for the platform.
