Luxoft Kraków is seeking an experienced Java developer to join a global bank platform project. You will own key components across the SDLC, from analysis to deployment, aligning with engineering best practices.

The role requires leading technical design discussions, implementing scalable services and collaborating with a diverse global team. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Java, strong Spring Boot and Oracle SQL skills, and experience with REST, Kafka, Redis, Unix scripting; familiarity with

• At least 7+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java Core, JDBC, Collections and Spring Boot.
• Experience with SQL/PL-SQL on Oracle DB.
• Experience designing REST web services and using Kafka/Redis.
• Unix commands and shell scripting proficiency.
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Hands-on with Jira, deployment tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical, communication and time-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality and scope.
• Participate in all stages of SDLC within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Partner with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products.
• Enhance/re-architect existing components for performance and scalability.
• Provide level 3 (escalation) support for the application.
