Job description

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior Java & Data Engineer with over 10 years of technical background, preferably in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments. This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects within the financial sector.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable Java applications tailored to financial and capital markets use cases
• Build and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
• Work with complex Oracle database systems, including design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Design and implement solutions using graph databases to model complex relationships and datasets
• Ensure high code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution architecture planning

Requirements:

• 10+ years of technical experience in software development and data engineering
• Proven expertise in Java programming, with strong coding and debugging skills
• Solid background in Data Engineering, including data warehousing and ETL pipelines
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Oracle databases
• Familiarity with graph database technologies (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph, or similar)
• Experience in financial services or capital markets is strongly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams
  Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
