Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior IT Auditor (German) to lead IT audit engagements from Wrocław/Katowice, with a hybrid work setup (2 days in office, 3 days remote). You will test ITGC and application controls, apply data analytics, and review AI-driven processes to strengthen clients' controls and risk management in digital environments.

Qualifications

• 2.5+ years' experience in IT and/or information security
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybernetics, or similar field
• Knowledge of IT standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, NIS2, and others)
• Ideally holds IT certifications such as (CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, TOGAF, CEH, OSCP)

Responsibilities

• Performing effectiveness testing over IT Application Controls, IT General Controls (ITGC), and Segregation of Duties (SoD), with cybersecurity risk considerations
• Leveraging data analytics to support audit procedures, including large dataset analysis and anomaly identification
• Reviewing automated and AI-driven processes, including controls around algorithms, data usage, and governance
• Identifying internal control deficiencies and providing actionable recommendations to improve performance
• Defining and executing audit procedures to assess whether deficiencies could be exploited in complex tech environments
• Conducting IT and security testing across Database Security, RPA, IT Asset Management, software license compliance, and cloud solutions
• Contributing to AI adoption within the team by identifying use cases and implementing AI tools
• Guiding and sharing knowledge with the team in IT audit, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and AI
