Job summary

Tanium is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead and expand its audit program, developing methodologies and templates, and guiding a globally distributed team of auditors. You will track KPIs, budgets, and program maturity, and coordinate with external assessors to ensure timely remediation.

Responsibilities include advising senior leadership on control weaknesses, risk mitigation, and staying current with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and NIST.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA or similar certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience leading audit or compliance functions in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand Tanium's audit program.
• Develop audit methodology, processes, and templates for a repeatable program.
• Lead and coach a globally distributed team of auditors.
• Track and report on audit KPIs, budgets, and program maturity.
• Review audit reports for quality and actionable remediation.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assessors.
• Ensure remediation plans are established for gaps identified.
