Job summary

Intitute of Industrial Organic Chemistry seeks a researcher to operate and supervise ICP-MS and GC-MS/MS instruments, develop and implement analytical methods, and validate analytical methods to standards. You will prepare samples, perform analyses, and document results while contributing to R&D projects and external tasks.

Requirements include a degree in chemistry or related fields, hands-on ICP-MS/GC-MS/MS experience, QA knowledge, and good English (B1/B2).

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in chemistry, geochemistry, biology, biotechnology, or related fields.
• Experience working with ICP-MS and/or GC-MS/MS techniques (analytical or research laboratory preferred).
• Knowledge of principles regarding validation and quality assurance of analytical methods.
• Ability to develop procedures and interpret measurement results.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain research documentation.
• Team leadership skills.
• English language proficiency at B1/B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Operation and supervision of ICP-MS and GC-MS/MS analytical instrumentation.
• Development, optimization, and implementation of analytical methods using ICP-MS and GC-MS/MS techniques.
• Validation and verification of analytical methods in accordance with applicable standards and quality system requirements.
• Sample preparation for instrumental analysis in compliance with established procedures.
• Performance of laboratory analyses and interpretation of test results.
• Maintenance of analytical and research documentation.
• Collaboration on research and development projects and external commissioning work.
• Support for development of new research services and laboratory capabilities.
• Preparation of reports, summaries, and technical materials.
