The ideal candidate will work with cloud infrastructure and must demonstrate expertise in scalable services, deploying edge compute functions, and building observable systems. Qualifications

• Experience in a high-velocity software development organization.
• Designing, building, and operating cloud services at scale, preferably on GCP.
• Knowledge of edge compute functions and their deployment.
• Ability to treat infrastructure as versioned software.
• Understanding of database performance and scaling patterns.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and job queue systems.
• Experience in building observable systems with logging and metrics.
• Capability in writing production-quality Python code.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate foundational systems for Scrunch's platform.
• Manage cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, and system reliability.
• Ensure system observability and reliability.

Skills
