Job summary

Contour Education is building the India people function from the ground up. You will own employee relations, exits, performance management, pay reviews, compliance, and engagement across the India team.

You will localise global standards set by senior leadership, working directly with pod leads and the Talent Acquisition Lead. You will design processes under the VP of Global Enablement and Support, while ensuring adherence to Labour Codes, POSH, and statutory benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience handling employee relations investigations, grievances, and exit processes.
• Knowledge of Labour Codes, POSH and statutory benefits.
• Experience designing policies and employee handbook.
• Ability to coach line managers through difficult conversations.
• Experience with pay reviews and banding data.

Responsibilities

• Take over employee relations when formal: investigations, grievances, and improvement plans.
• Run exits: paperwork, liabilities, settlements, and records.
• Design and operate the review cycle, including promotions to align with career ladders.
• Lead pay reviews and ensure defensible banding with market data.
• Write and maintain India employee handbook and related contracts, onboarding, and POSH compliance.
• Lead engagement surveys and implement action plans with manager ownership.
