Job summary

Eviden, an Atos Group business, is seeking an experienced backend developer to join our team in building hybrid cloud platform services for a telecom client. You will work on scalable, secure RESTful services in distributed environments, with a focus on Golang and Kubernetes.

Join a cross-functional, Agile/DevOps driven team. You will contribute to performance optimization, thorough testing, and documentation while collaborating with colleagues across cloud and data technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in Golang.
• Experience building RESTful services in distributed environments.
• Strong system programming and memory management skills.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience developing Kubernetes native operators (kubebuilder).
• CI/CD pipelines and GitOps/IaC experience.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Kafka, Neo4j).
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP, others).

We are looking for an experienced backend developer to join our team. In this role, you will be part of a software engineering team developing hybrid cloud platform services for one of our customers from telecommunication sector. Developers play a critical role in creating scalable, secure, well-tested, and documented functionality to provide value to our customers.

What will You bring?

• Ability to design for scalability and optimize performance, considering load balancing, caching, and resource allocation.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, committed to clear knowledge sharing.
• Collaborative, with an ability to work in cross-functional teams, adapting to Agile and DevOps methodologies for software development.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
• Self-Motivated: The ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and addressing technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and proactivity.
• Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience (ideally inGolang) with significant experience in building RESTful services in distributed environments.
• Strong system programming skills, with proficiency in low-level interactions, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Thorough knowledge of containerization and container management with Kubernetes, packaging of applications, and customization of deployments.
• Experience in the development of Kubernetes native operators (kubebuilder) and managing resources in the Kubernetes resource model (CRDs, CRs).
• Understanding of and experience with asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with various relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, Kafka, Neo4J, and others).
• Experience with common hyperscalers (GCP and others).
• Ability to set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, and Argo CD, as well as hands-on experience with gitOps/IaC (supported by our dedicated DevOps engineers).
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests and their incorporation in automated test frameworks.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts, including protocols, load balancing, and security.
