Job summary

Cavendish Professionals is seeking Software Engineers to join a highly technical engineering environment in Warsaw. You will design and build secure, enterprise-scale software platforms, with hands-on Go and Java development across distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing SDL security practices, and using Docker, Kubernetes and IaC to enable secure deployments across teams.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on development experience with Go and Java.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, APIs and software architecture.
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab or Jenkins.
• Good understanding of secure coding and SDL practices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and modern DevOps practices.
• Ability to contribute to architecture while remaining deeply hands-on with development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent technical experience.

• Contributing to system design, architecture and technical strategy.
• Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrating automated security testing, code scanning and dependency analysis.
• Building automation for testing and secure deployments.
• Working with Docker, Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Conducting threat modelling and security design reviews.
• Embedding Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices across engineering teams.
• Evaluating and integrating open-source technologies.
