Job summary

Our client is building an EU-focused public cloud (IaaS/PaaS) with emphasis on security, privacy, and compliance. We seek a Go engineer with 5+ years of IT experience and 3+ years in Go, plus strong Kubernetes expertise to support service-oriented architectures.

You will collaborate with European teams, adopt new SDLC approaches, and contribute to performance, security, and automation efforts in a remote-friendly Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Strong Go Engineer with 5+ years of IT experience and 3+ years in Go
• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes for managing service-oriented solutions
• Experience with microservice architecture and scalable systems
• Understanding of security concepts and secure development practices
• Proficient in Linux, scripting, and configuration management
• Interest in learning IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional European teams to design and deliver features
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency
• Participate in designing and adopting Agentic SDLC approaches
• Engage in onsite workshops and remote-oriented Agile environments

Our client operates global eco-system of retail and IT businesses, including manufacturing, recycling, digital services, and cloud technology solutions. It integrates end-to-end value chains across retail, production, logistics, waste management, and digital infrastructure to support secure, efficient, and sustainable business operations.

A solution, our client is building, is IaaS/PaaS public cloud within European Union, that focus on security, privacy, and compliance to world class regulations. The solution includes but is not limited to, database services, VMs, security controls, Data & AI services and observability.

IF YOU ARE

• A Strong Go Engineer with 5+ years of professional IT experience and 3+ years in Go engineering
• Professional with Kubernetes in managing stable service-oriented solution
• Knowledgeable in microservice architecture and scalable systems
• Confident in writing, testing, integration, and debugging
• Understanding security concepts and enforcing them throughout development
• Skilled in Linux, scripting, and configurations to establish working environment
• Interested in learning new stuff, e.g. CaC / IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform, Kubernetes operators
• A self-contained, self-disciplined person with good problem-solving skills
• A team player with active position in dynamic remote-oriented agile environment
• Aware of their inner workings: Docker and Kubernetes, cloud databases and data platforms, private clouds (would be a plus)
