Job summary

Sii Sp. z o.o. in Poland is seeking a Network Engineer with Juniper to manage production network platforms across global POPs and data centers, focusing on lifecycle management and ongoing upgrades.

The role offers remote work with collaboration across vendors. You will coordinate fleet-wide changes, validate configurations, and contribute to runbooks while working with Cisco/Juniper/Arista devices and advanced routing protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production network environment.
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista.
• Proficiency in core networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including executing network change operations and software upgrades.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Supporting lifecycle management for production network platforms, including hardware, software, firmware, and operating system versions across global POPs and data centers
• Planning, coordinating, and executing fleet-wide network upgrade initiatives, ensuring device qualification and readiness checks are performed
• Leading infrastructure rollout efforts across global POPs, data centers, and the backbone network
• Operating a dedicated lab and test environment to validate hardware platforms, configurations, and automation tooling
• Partnering with network engineers and vendors to investigate platform issues, manage support escalations, and document resolution paths
• Collaborating cross-functionally to support network scalability, compliance, and operational consistency
• Contributing to runbooks, process documentation, and operational procedures for network changes and lifecycle management activities
