Job summary

GFT Poland is seeking an Expert Fullstack Python Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features, ensure quality and performance, and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Python, strong Flask/SQLAlchemy skills, and experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools. Hybrid/Remote options available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Proficiency in Python 3.11+, Flask 2+, SQLAlchemy.
• Strong OOP and design patterns.
• Experience in RESTful APIs, microservices, messaging (Pub/Sub), observability (ELK, Splunk), security.
• Experience in cloud solutions (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
• Familiarity with Git with advanced branching/merging for large teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes-based cloud deployment platforms.
• Good communication skills; technical lead experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Python applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and fix bugs; maintain code quality and automation.
• Work with Oracle databases; implement/maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Build and deploy applications using standard build tools.
• Design for observability and supportability.
• Present work to technical and non-technical audiences.
