Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to design, implement, and maintain responsive JavaScript/TypeScript applications using modern frontend frameworks. You will own end-to-end frontend features from design through testing and delivery.

You will write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and collaborate with product, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA. Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and modern build tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Experience with two or more JavaScript frameworks/libraries.
• English proficiency.
• Understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with Git and code review workflows.
• Experience writing frontend unit and integration tests.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript.
• Experience with the React ecosystem, or Vue or Svelte.
• Experience with Docker-based development environments.
• Knowledge of modern build tools, bundlers, and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD, test automation, and frontend observability.
• Understanding of web application security best practices, including CSP, XSS mitigation, and secure cookie handling.
• Experience mentoring peers and leading technical design discussions.
• Must be locally hired in Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain responsive, accessible frontend applications.
• Own end-to-end frontend features from design to testing and delivery.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, and QA.
• Use Git for source control and run CI/CD pipelines.
• Work in Docker-based development environments and coordinate with OS/DevOps teams.
• Monitor web standards, browser support, and emerging web features.
• Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, and process improvement.
