Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Fullstack Java Developer for a banking project. The role is fully remote, joining an agile team of senior developers. You will design and implement backend and frontend features, build dashboards, and ensure scalable, reliable software delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in fullstack Java, strong Java/Spring/Hibernate, and frontend skills (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS). Proficiency with RESTful microservices and databases like Oracle/SQL is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Java Developer
• Extensive experience in Java, Spring and Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
• Proficiency in building RESTful microservices using JSON and XML
• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL)
• Familiarity with Maven, npm, Git, Bitbucket
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an Agile team to design and implement backend and frontend features
• Develop and maintain dashboards, workflows, and core banking applications
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of software solutions
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime
• Communicate effectively with team members across locations
