Job summary

Nomtek is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer (Node.js + React.js) to strengthen our web development practice. This role leans toward backend while leveraging React and Next.js on the frontend, ideally with AWS experience.

You’ll build scalable APIs, ensure performance and security, and collaborate across product, design, and QA. You’ll also participate in pre-sales activities, shape technical requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Fullstack Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and associated frameworks/libraries.
• Frontend development skills using React.js and Next.js, including hooks, state management, and component-based architecture.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs; knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Testing with Jest, Cypress, or Mocha; Git version control.
• Very good level of Polish (C1) and English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable fullstack applications using Node.js (backend) and React.js/Next.js (frontend).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, other developers and testers to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
• Build and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor teammates to enforce best practices and growth.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to process improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies; bring new ideas.
• Support pre-sales by defining requirements, engaging with clients and proposing solutions.
