Edvantis is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a data‑driven energy SaaS project. You will work on the back-end microservices with Java/Kotlin and Angular, ensuring security, performance, and scalability in a high‑volume environment.

You will design, review, and implement features, contribute to API design, and help shape technical decisions while collaborating across teams. English proficiency is required; remote-first with flexible hours are offered.

Competenze

• 5+ years of software development experience in building SaaS applications.
• Strong commercial experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Experience in building microservices and working with relational databases, plus familiarity with document-based databases.
• Solid understanding of the design principles behind secure and scalable applications.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proven experience using AI tools to speed up software development while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to work on the project of our Client – a leading energy SaaS company. The Client delivers highly technical insights and predictive/prescriptive analytics that help customers make decisions that increase profit. Their technologies support production and investment strategies, energy & commodity trading, risk management, and cost reduction through automated processes across critical business functions. The company is a strategic partner to more than 6,000 customers in 50 countries.

You will join the team that builds the Client’s back-office automation software – a SaaS platform that streamlines and accelerates vendor collaboration and the payment process. The platform is a large, data-rich application backed by a set of microservices, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and performance under high-volume workloads.

The ideal candidate understands how to build scalable, secure, data-rich applications. Java and Kotlin are the core of the role. You will work across the stack, from back-end microservices to the web UI. You will also help in shaping technical decisions, review code and designs, and take part in planning projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a SaaS application built with Java, Kotlin, and Angular

Requirements:

• 5+ years of software development experience in building SaaS applications
• Strong commercial experience with Java and Kotlin
• Experience in building microservices and working with relational databases, plus familiarity with document-based databases
• Solid understanding of the design principles behind secure and scalable applications
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Proven experience in using AI tools to speed up software development, from design and coding through testing and documentation, while keeping code quality, security, and maintainability high
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
• English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Hands-on experience with Angular
• Experience in applying Data Science methods to build scalable data solutions and deliver insights that drive business decisions
• Experience in tuning SQL queries and database performance for high-volume workloads
