CD PROJEKT RED in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Asset Pipeline Web Services team. You will design and build backend services and APIs in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript, while delivering end-to-end features with React UIs in a cloud environment.

You will collaborate across product, UX, infrastructure, and game teams, take ownership of large areas, and gradually assume coordination duties to keep priorities and dependencies visible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional experience in software engineering at senior level.
• Deep Python backend expertise and strong API/data modeling skills.
• Experience with FastAPI/SQLAlchemy or similar frameworks.
• Backend in Node.js/TypeScript and frontend with React/TypeScript.
• Relational databases, PostgreSQL, and cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of containerization, CI/CD, observability, and security.
• Strong ownership mindset and clear communication in a cross-functional team.
• Interest in progressively taking on coordination responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js/TypeScript.
• Deliver features end-to-end from data models to React-based interfaces.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions to improve reliability, security, and performance.
• Design integrations between internal apps, production systems, and external services.
• Participate in deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting in the cloud.
• Collaborate with product, UX, infrastructure, and game teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Take ownership of larger work areas and break them into deliverables.
• Progressively assume coordination duties to organize day-to-day work and priorities.
