Job summary

STX Next is seeking a senior full-stack contractor for a fast-paced, six-month project. You will bridge technology and business, contributing to both mobile features in React Native (Expo) and backend services in Node.js, Firebase, and databases.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, shape technical roadmaps, and deliver high-quality mobile features in a remote-first setup aligned with EU time zones.

Qualifications

• Senior-level production experience with React Native (Expo) and Node.js ecosystem.
• Backend mastery with Firebase and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Deep, practical experience with TanStack Query, Zustand, react-hook-form, Reanimated, Typesense, branch.io and RevenueCat.
• Excellent English communication skills (min. B2/C1+) to explain decisions to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own mobile features and backend services across React Native and Node.js stack.
• Implement complex UI animations, in-app purchases, and API integrations.
• Translate technical requirements into business value and advise on technical decisions.
