Job description

We are looking for aSenior FrontendDeveloper (Vue.js)to join theSopra Steriateam for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in a stable, industrial environment within a multinational team (France, Poland, India) supporting a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program includes a wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams. Our scope is to build solutions that support pilots, crew, airlines, and airport operations using modern technologies.

Note that we can offer cooperation only to candidates located in Poland (preferably Gdańsk or Silesia).

Responsibilities:

• Your mission as a front-end developer, is to develop the front-end layer of the application
• Implement solutions and deliver high quality software
• Help to define requirements and implement software designs
• Create and test software to enhance the solution and all related modules and services
• Shape and apply our software standards of clean code and performance optimization techniques

Tech stack on the project:

• Python
• ArcGIS
• AWS: AWS lambda, SAM, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda Functions and other AWS services are used
• GitLab, CI/CD in code, Jenkins/Cloud bees
• End to end testing with Cypress
• Static code analysis, SonarQube

Must have requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in software development with Vue.js
• Solid IT technical background
• Strong “can-do” attitude and good communication skills
• Experience in Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g.: JIRA)
• Git knowledge
• Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice

Nice to have requirements:

• Experience working in a distributed and international team
