Job summary

VueToronto is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Growth team. You will build UI with Vue 3, TypeScript, and Vite, and own features from idea to production.

You’ll collaborate with designers, product, and analysts, improve our design system, and push AI-assisted development workflows to speed delivery. A hybrid or remote setup is available.

The role prioritizes ownership, high quality, and measurable business impact, with stock options and generous leave.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial web development experience.
• Strong Vue 3 and TypeScript skills.
• Daily use of AI tools in development to plan, review, and verify AI-written code.
• Solid understanding of client-side architecture and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop UI and A/B experiments using Vue 3, TypeScript, and Vite.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop UI and A/B experiments using Vue 3, TypeScript, and Vite;
• Improve our internal tooling: the design system and AI-assisted development workflows;
• Drive strong collaboration with other engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts;
• Take full ownership of features, from idea to production, then iterate based on real user data and A/B test results;
• Ensure high development velocity while maintaining strong code quality and reliability;
• Make an impact: our work directly affects key business metrics, and the results of your contributions will be visible and meaningful.

What We Look For:

• A minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in web development;
• Strong Vue 3 + TypeScript skills;
• Advanced, daily use of AI tools in development (agents, Claude Code, Codex, etc.): you know how to plan, review, and verify AI-written code;
• A clear understanding of client-side architecture and design patterns;
• Good understanding of how browsers work and how to optimize for performance;
• Experience with A/B testing, payments, or subscription flows is a big plus;
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to solving problems;
• Passion for health, wellness, and making a positive impact on people’s lives;
• Confident in written and spoken English.
