In the Warsaw headquarters there is one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Centers. Established in January 2018, it is one of L’Oréal’s most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle-East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs.

Responsibilities
  • Manage budget and trend processes; prepare, analyze, share, and monitor key reports and indicators to support stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, propose and implement corrective actions, harmonize processes across countries to drive efficiency while complying with group standards.
Stream Lead
  • Provide expertise on stream‑related topics & projects (e.g., Travel Meetings).
  • Animate the stream across zones and compare performance between countries.
  • Monitor compliance with group guidelines and oversee expense forecasting.
  • Ensure standardization of approach across countries.
  • Drive continuous innovation and optimization.
Country Lead
  • Be the single point of contact with your Country Budget Owner(s) & Country CFO – Corporate Controller.
  • Coordinate with Stream Leads for up‑to‑date information on your country.
  • Oversee SG&A with Expenses and Variance costs; manage assigned countries.
  • Drive data quality & controls.
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial controlling.
  • University degree in Finance & Accounting or International Business & Economics.
  • Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a positive can‑do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: communicating, defending ideas, and convincing.
  • Efficiency‑oriented: proactively challenge the status quo to design more efficient ways of working.
  • Fluent in professional English.
