We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineering Tech Lead to join a cross-team commando team in the Core Services group. The main goal of this team will be to drive the most complex and strategic projects in the group. Core Services delivers essential technical platforms and services to product teams, focusing on resiliency, encryption, search, and high-scale write operations.

The role is based in our Warsaw office (established 2022) and is part of a growing hub for engineers who love solving impactful problems. Teams work on a broad range of challenges that push the boundaries of our products and infrastructure. Explore our recent work:

About the role

As a Senior Engineering Tech Lead, you will actively write code while guiding the team's technical direction. You’ll work independently, identifying key priorities and milestones, while managing top risks and end‑to‑end execution. You’ll join projects at various stages, laying down foundations, implementing proof‑of‑concepts, establishing methodologies, and handing them off to dedicated teams.

You will proactively identify technical opportunities and challenges within our engineering group, providing leadership to resolve them. Your role involves removing blockers, whether individually or collaboratively, and advocating best practices in engineering at a group level to ensure wide adoption.
