Overview

Join us in this role where you’ll play a key role maintaining and developing a truly global active directory and remote desktop services infrastructure. In this role, you'll interface with colleagues across teams and borders and, with your knowledge and insights, will be an inspiration for providing a stable and secure directory infrastructure to business.

Role context

You’ll be part of the agile delivery organization “Production - IT Product Line” where you, together with your experienced and dedicated colleagues, will build and maintain the IT/OT production infrastructure for all Ørsted assets, like Offshore and Onshore wind. As the Ørsted assets are placed around the globe, we also have colleagues working together across borders and cultures. You’ll play an important role in

• designing our future IT infrastructure while maintaining existing on-premises Active Directory environment and Microsoft RDS Farms
• administering and optimizing key infrastructure components such as Active Directory (AD), DNS, NTP, PKI and HSM
• designing new scripts for our daily operations, information gathering, and automation while being an advisor and the subject matter expert for the business
• working closely with architecture and the IT/OT security teams to design and improve remote access solutions to ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory and audit requirements
• providing technical leadership in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance and participating in the team-roster, sharing the on-call Guard Duty supporting operations
• developing and maintaining documentation, processes, and operational procedures for Active Directory infrastructure services and RDS platforms.

To succeed in the role

• are able to work effectively in a diverse, distributed agile team and lead technical projects independently
• have extensive experience and deep knowledge in Remote Desktop Services (RDS)
• have strong expertise in Active Directory and DNS in IT and OT environments, preferably with Microsoft certifications or equivalent
• have experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining remote access solutions and possess automation skills, for example PowerShell scripting
• have advanced knowledge of PKI and certificates
• have general knowledge of supporting infrastructure technologies and understanding of networking and security concepts.
