Job summary

SQUAD Ukraine Limited is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with embedded systems testing expertise to ensure product quality prior to release. You will develop testing processes and mentor teammates across hardware, firmware and software interfaces.

You will execute complex tests, create test plans, report defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability. Based in Wrocław, you will join our Embedded QA team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual testing experience with embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC and SDLC methodologies.
• Hands-on in UNIX/Linux environments and embedded principles.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work from our office in Wroclaw.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test execution for high-complexity tasks as part of a global team.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.
• Report bugs, investigate defects, identify risks, and validate fixes.
• Review test documentation and mentor teammates.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve QA processes.
• Participate in bug triage, task allocation, and Go/No-Go meetings.
• Communicate testing status and test results to stakeholders.
