ABB in Kraków, Poland, is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and maintain C++ based solutions for ABB Excitation Systems. You will work within a hybrid team, collaborating with product and software groups.

The role covers full SDLC in an agile setting, programming in C/C++, and ensuring the software stays up to date with the latest features. Fluent English required; German is an asset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in C/C++ software development.
• Experience with DevOps/CICD, Git and Azure.
• Team player able to work in distributed, diverse environments.
• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; fluent English; German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop embedded software for ABB Excitation projects in C++.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources.
• Execute full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Work within an agile software development team.
• Specify, implement, test and document object-oriented real-time embedded software.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems.
• Collaborate with product and other software teams.
• Ensure software is updated with latest features.
