Job summary

Seargin is seeking a Senior Embedded C++ Engineer to design, develop, and maintain firmware for advanced industrial automation products. You will work on embedded systems, network protocols, and real-time software, collaborating with international teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

The role covers the full software lifecycle from requirements to testing, debugging, and code reviews, with mentoring responsibilities and exposure to CI/CD pipelines in a global context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Electronics, or related IT degree.
• Typically, 5+ years of software development experience in C++.
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet-based comms), embedded systems architecture, or RTOS (QNX, VxWorks).
• Typically, 5+ years in embedded systems firmware development and debugging.
• Practical experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Fluent English (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Firmware Development for multiple Automation devices.
• Design firmware components and implement features (network protocols, controller runtime).
• Perform firmware debugging and defect analysis using root cause techniques.
• Write unit tests and integration tests for CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in requirements analysis, system design, and architecture discussions.
• Create design documentation and participate in code reviews.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share knowledge.
