Job summary

Aptiv in Kraków is seeking a Material Cost Improvement Senior Engineer to drive innovative circuit design and cost-saving initiatives across multiple products. You will work with customer teams and suppliers to select components, review savings designs via simulations, and align electrical targets with MCIP goals while following the Product Development Design process.

You will also collaborate with project teams, Idea Generation, CAD, and supplier cost review activities to maximize design

Qualifications

Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics

Responsibilities

Innovate design of new circuits with focus on savings
Collaborate with customer teams and suppliers to select components
Review cost savings designs with simulations to prove effectiveness
Set electrical design targets aligned with MCIP goals
Follow Product Development Design process with aggressive savings plans
Collaborate with project teams to identify innovative design ideas for current products
Work with Idea Generation team on component selection
Participate in supplier cost reviews and guide category teams
Coordinate with CAD teams to enable and optimize layouts
Design new circuit building blocks to replace older designs
Commonize components across circuits to increase savings
