Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Senior Site Engineer – Electrical for the CCGT Power Plant project based in Grudziądz, Poland. Join our construction team to lead electrical erection activities and supervise subcontractors on a major energy project.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of electrical construction experience, and excellent organizational and communication skills to drive project milestones and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• University or Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction.
• Proven experience in electrical erection for large scale energy projects, preferably in Thermal Power Plants.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time management, problem-solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the subcontract erection works are performed according to the studies.
• Supervise electrical subcontracting works.
• Confirms that the quantities are erected according to the erection manuals.
• Ensures that the works performed as per the time schedule.
• Certifies the quantity of the installed equipment by the end of each month.
• Participates in site meetings with the subcontractor.
• Communicates any issue to the engineering department and provides solution to the subcontractor.
