Job summary

Antal in Kraków seeks an experienced Senior DLP Security Engineer to join an international cybersecurity environment and support enterprise‑level Data Loss Prevention solutions. You will work across data protection, security controls and risk management in collaboration with stakeholders from technology, security and compliance.

The role blends hands‑on DLP implementation with policy management, endpoint security, testing and audit support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Experience with DLP technologies, ideally at least two of the following: Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, Trellix.
• Practical experience with Data in Motion and Data in Use Security.
• Experience with DLP agent administration and configuration.
• Experience managing DLP policies and endpoint-related exceptions.
• Experience working with systems hosted both on-premises and in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Data Security and Application Security fundamentals.
• Experience with test planning, test scripting, test data preparation, test execution and defect management.
• Experience in data protection, cybersecurity and risk management, preferably within regulated environments.

We are looking for an experienced Senior DLP Security Engineer to join an international cybersecurity environment and support enterprise-level Data Loss Prevention solutions.

The role combines hands‑on technical work with DLP technologies, policy management, endpoint security, testing and collaboration with cybersecurity, technology and risk stakeholders.

The selected specialist will cooperate with Antal in an outsourcing model, providing services to our client based in Kraków.

Your responsibilities

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, ideally with a strong focus on Data Loss Prevention and Data Security.
• Hands‑on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Experience with DLP technologies, ideally at least two of the following: Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, Trellix.
• Practical experience with Data in Motion and Data in Use Security.
• Experience with DLP agent administration and configuration.
• Experience managing DLP policies and endpoint‑related exceptions.
• Experience working with systems hosted both on‑premises and in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of Data Security and Application Security fundamentals.

• Experience in data protection, cybersecurity and risk management, preferably within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
• Understanding of security controls, regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and security topics clearly.
• Good documentation and task‑management skills, including experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Nice to have

• Experience working with auditors or regulators.
• Knowledge of test automation.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Broader knowledge of Data Security, privacy and data anonymization.
