Job summary

Sauce Labs Inc. in Warsaw, Poland, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to span the full stack of a distributed system in our Virtual Device Cloud.

You will improve testing discipline, cross-platform observability, and delivery cadence while working closely with Product, Test Orchestration and Cloud teams. The role requires building and operating production code in Go and/or Python, strong Linux/DevOps skills, and macOS tooling knowledge.

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
Hands-on Kubernetes with fleet orchestration (Agones or equivalent).
Proven ability to ship production Go/Python code via CI/CD.
Strong observability with metrics, logging and tracing.
DevOps practices on Linux/Unix and ability to diagnose on the box.
Track record of shipping via code reviews and pairing.
macOS literacy including simctl, launchd, XPC.
Knowledge of Apple virtualization tooling and APIs.

Responsibilities

Lead by example through testing, observability and delivery via code review and pairing.
Own the device lifecycle across image boot to teardown with fleet integration.
Make the fleet observable across the image build and orchestration pipelines.
Root-cause and fix lifecycle regressions with tests and automated checks.
Improve boot/teardown times and manage image footprint.
Collaborate with Cloud and Test Orchestration to propose evidence-backed changes.
